I’ve been in your boat. Researching. Having a vision. Likely with a certain style and editing in mind, but wanting to choose the right person to take those photos. BEEN there. There are so many choices for photographers, so I want to thank you for considering me and stopping by!
A quick intro about me:
I’m Josie, 31-year-old boy mom, class-clown and extrovert. I’ve lived in Austin, Texas with my family since 2024 after relocating from Dallas, Texas. I enjoy all things artistic from singing, writing, and crafting to photography. Some more of my favorite things include judging coffee tasting notes, reading popular BookTok recommendations and rewatching One Tree Hill or Breaking Bad for the 50,000th time. Go Ravens! Yeah, science!
I was gifted my first big girl camera in 2011 and graduated from taking up-close-and-personal shots of dragonflies and cigarettes to my best friend’s infant and getting creative with friends and acquaintances. Not long after that level up, I realized how easy photography was for me to love and I’ve devoted myself to polishing that talent over 10+ years. One of the most exciting parts of taking pictures is sitting down to pick out the best images and creating magic out of them.
If you know me then you’re familiar with the fun I like to have. I’m loud. I laugh a lot. I say off the wall stuff. But most importantly I make YOU laugh. A good skill to have as a photographer, don’t cha think? If you don’t know that about me, now you do and I hope I get the opportunity to set your mind at ease about being in front of the camera through my personality and ability to make any awkward situation comfortable.
I’ll guide you through poses with directions, entertaining prompts and make it a fun experience to remember!
Just trust the process and relax.
